Even if this game has SBMM it is completely worthless to even mention as balancing a match of 128 players just isn't happening with current technology. You can guesstimate and organize the teams a little bit, but finding matches based on skill (which is what I assume people mean here because that's generally what people mean when they say SBMM), no. Aim assist can be a few things as well. Slowdown, magnetism, and rotation.

Slowdown is pretty self-explanatory, your aim slows down when moving close to an enemy, and this is great because using a thumbstick is garbage.

Rotation makes you turn left or right to follow the enemy slightly, but not enough to where you can rely on it. Also great because thumbsticks are garbage.

Magnetism is when you straight miss but the bullets hit anyway. Halo has magnetism in a lot of their games.

I think part of the issue with infantry is that there are only two "rpgs". Making it more likely to come across people using stingers. In 4 there was a ton of variety, this lead to people using different ones trying to get cool kills. Combined with double the enemies as 4, it's lock on hell.

Same issue many had with BFV, settings are saved in Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings - if you have something like OneDrive, Google Drive, antivirus, certain Windows settings etc. on that interferes with this folder it might reset or never save your settings. While figuring out what is causing it you can take a backup of your settings folder.

• it’s not immersive
• it’s clunky
• allowing you to move can shut it off quickly

It’s simply shit in every way. You get all the cons to having a lock on animated revive and you get none of the pros for it. People can still shock air from 10 ft away and revive people at their feet only this time we need to slowly charge the paddles. It’s very very bad. You also only get 50 xp. It’s just trash. I can’t see why they said “let’s combine 5 and 4’s system”

That has been the trend since BF4. BF4 was shit to people, hardline comes out, BF4 is awesome. BF 1 comes out, BF1 is shit, BF4 and Hardline went from being shit to being awesome. BF V comes out BF1 went from shit to awesome.

Bf1 was heavily criticised for a lot of things at launch, specifically causalifying the bf experience and moving away from the modern setting, but it was just in the beginning, people loved it when they played it for a bit
