I think the critic reviews average is somewhat more fair at a ~73/100 which means it is "average" taking into account the issues and it still being fun. I believe there is a video setting for rendering animation at distance. Any players beyond that distance isn't animated. If you have it set to minimum, players in the distance will look they are floating in a set pose as they run.

most of the weapons are straight clones from the older games, you can actually pretty much just rip their stats minus TTK because that changes depending on the flow of the game
