Personally I hold V as my favorite, having played all of them since Modern Combat, a lot of it comes down to theme but the overall gameplay is just more fun for me, I don't care about a lot of the controversy, if I have fun it's a good game, I'm having a lot of fun with 2042 as well and I believe that it will turn out great eventually.

The game launched in an unacceptable state for a AAA title franchise game. I understand some glitches and reworks, but not to this magnitude. THAT BEING SAID, I'm still loving the game and cant find myself playing anything else, so I'm happy I got it now. I can deal with some here and there patches to get it up to speed. Overall, fun game so far! I don't regret my purchase.

indeed its just a shame, look at Burnout paradise ^^ thats one of the last EA games to not use frostbite, they used to use an engine called Renderware4 for many years and if you look at the game library, its awesone, Skate 1 ,2 ,3, older battlefields before 3, it was also used by criterion and many other studios so it was almost uniform workloads between companies, now all devs have to warm up to these new engines that no one gets to see until they get a job in said studio, just unreal engine it ffs xD
