TBH i think it doesnt feel like BF to appeal to other demographics. Appealing to BF fans alone would be cool, but finacially wouldn't work out. And since this is an EA game after all, they're trying to get as much income as possible. if 2042 was appealing to only the fans, it wouldn't suceed enough finacially to have BF contiue as a franchise. I think what some people need to know is when they say they get 130 frames or more in a match(which somehow I dunno even know how that's possible) alot of us are irritated when our pc's should be doing alot better then they should be but we still get shit performance, like I have above all recommended specs so I can imagine how much worse it is for people with minimum specs or just slightly more

anyone feel like the vehicles are lacking something? i feel like they've dialled a lot of them back a touch to make infantry combat easier. the wildcat's AA guns feel lacking compared to say, the Tunguska, while the 40mm cannon fires way slower and has less rounds than the IFV's from BF4 which gives it a drastically lower TTK 😦
