Breakaway is amazing around A1, A2, and A3. It feels like Golmud A/B area. Total chaos and I love it. Orbital is the same around D1 and D2. You just have to stay where the action is on these maps. Like Hourglass you stay by the Stadium area

A lot of the time the maps depend on your teammates. If you have good teammates and they are playing the objective, any map can be great, even Discarded. If your teammates are trash then it's going to make the map miserable.

SW: Battlefront 2 - started off with literally the worst state that a AAA game has ever launched with and then DICE pulled a total 180 on the game and when they pulled live service from the game, they literally saved Battlefront's reputation. it's now an awesome SW arcade game

BFV - Started off again pretty rough with a ton of bugs and a huge lack of content. admittedly it sucked waiting as long as we did for more serious content like the Pacific chapter but it was awesome when we finally got it. i was playing a lot of BFV leading up to 2042 and i never had major technical issues and the game is an absolute joy to play.

all in all, DICE isn't unknown to fixing their games in a huge way post launch. keep in mind that 2042 is still in early access and we haven't gotten a day one patch yet. i'd be shocked if a big-ish update rolled out on late Thursday this week

Its vertical FOV which looks terrible at max because the enemies turn into tiny ants. It's not the same as horizontal FOV. You dont want vertical FOV maxed. 74 vertical FOV is the same as like 100 horizontal.

Guys, i made a pretty significant discovery for people with Ryzen Processors in regards to performance. I had a problem where even though I Had good hardware I was only getting 50-60 fps on 1440p high/ultra. Less than 50% GPU and CPU utilization. Changing the graphics didnt do a damn thing for my FPS. I had already used DDU, CCleaner, and redownloaded my gpu drivers. I have a 3080 FE and a 3700x cpu, made sure my ram was running at the highest speed.

I am over 20 hours in, rank 31, and having a blast. Ive been playing BF since 1942 and this game is a straight up Battlefield game. There's 7 maps which is not a lot, but they are massive and the games last like 25-30 minutes. The lack of guns is not an issue right now because they are all good (except AR's). I am almost 30 hours in and I haven't even used most of them yet. More maps and guns are coming in January anyways.

its not a bad game mode
overall its fun and hectic
it needs some tweaks like:

• games need to longer, like at least 30 minutes instead of 10-15m
• first extraction needs to start way later
• cars with gunners need to have limited ammo
  also they should release hazard zone as an standalone game for like 20 bucks or free to play or its not gonna be relevant. 60 bucks is too much of a ask
