from what i can tell the skill ceiling is very low, so no...streamers will not be playing 2042 unless they are like Shroud getting paid by EA to sit there playing for 10+ hours straight at <100fps and pretending he's having fun. It's just not going to be fun to watch unless they optimize the game because the amount of entertaining plays worth watching from someone who's skilled at FPS will be too rare. It's just too random of a game right now. This also goes hand in hand with the fact that since a skilled player will have as likely an outcome in any situation as the average gamer makes it more worthwhile to just boot the game up yourself.
