WHat I like about specialists is the build freedom people will be able to have. I'm excited to experiment with cool combos of specialists, gadgets, etc.

Like Angel can be the ULTIMATE support class, or can be a "bunker down and defend with explosives" class...

I think there's one of two options for that:

• You keep it 2042 factions but limit to 4 specific specialists, and those are your "classes"
• You use BF3/BC2 factions instead and use that gear set

At least for now though, if you opt to give both teams the "BF3" faction, then those factions must use BF3 weapons, attachments, gadgets, vehicles, etc

Cuz remember how whenever you hovered over the Specialists in the beta, it would show which class they are based off

Maybe there is a setting to lock their weapons to their base class, but I dunno

Maybe! I suppose it's possible! It'd be a nice toggle. It doesn't seem like the Builder has support for weapon eligibility on a per specialist basis, with the exception of legacy classes (which I assume would), and the Rules Editor which could work around it for FFA/TDM

But I'd love a "limit weapons by class" option or something

for those who want that, I mean

Personally I like it well enough w/ free weapon selection, but for those wanting to make a more legacy mode, would be cool

But if the Rules Editor ever comes to Conquest, etc. Then you can just build a string that sets specific gear when you spawn in
