2042 has 2 jets in total. If Portal removed the restriction, there would be 4. This applies to weapons and other vehicles too. It's more content to play around with in a match.

for instance the revive animation in 2042 is a lot slower and worse than BFV's. BFV actually had like a perfectly immersive revive that was striped. As was direction movement basically being stripped. All of those mechanics were not outdated, they were like what made BFV gameplay good. But its fine, its a new game, its whatever
