My idea (that wouldn't work because it's OP) to use his current kit as-is without a rework would be to drastically increase the range of his trait (up to roughly 30m) to where you can cover a doorway on one side of a room with the turret while you're standing near the other side, covering a different doorway. Having a range of like 5 feet just isn't useful, it's a death sentence. I don't really know how you're expected to play Boris, but what I imagined it to be is using the turret to provide light (as it's not super powerful) cover for your blind spots or to provide light cover an area.

It just seems like Boris is just "camp here with turret".

I miss the body animations, and rolls when you get thrown from explosions from BF1 that weren't in BF2. I remember in maps like Tattoonie, Hoth, and another that slips my mind, where if an AT-AT or AT-ST shot near you, you flew in the air, but if you landed on a hill, you rolled down the hill until it stopped. To me, it was minor, but it was cool. BF2 (05) you did a half roll then stand up.
