I would disagree, the specialists actually give me information that is 100% reliable in terms of what abilities the other player may have.

An assault class in bf4 could have a medic and defibs, or they could have a m320 and a radar jammer. But, you couldn't tell until they pulled them out. in 2042 I always know that falck has the stim pistol and is capable of reviving everyone to full HP in a quick manner

As i've explained before, its far more than just a "haha +1" meme. The "C4" designation means "Composition 4" based on the chemical mixture in it. C5 just means "Composition 5" which implies its using a new chemical mix, probably something closer to the modern Semtex, still based on RDX (a nitroamine)

To be honest I'm concerned and and disappointed on where 2042 looks like it's going, I heard the reason for the very unwanted third person takedowns in the game is because apparently it makes for good money making opportunities such as adding more and more takedown "animations" which people will use real world money to buy the currency in the game that lets them buy this, and it makes sense since EA (who's presence in the game already worries me) is commonly joked about but also well known for marketing schemes in which they focus less on gameplay quality and focus more on the money they are making from it, and the money only. But it's not (just) money I think the game developers are focusing on, but also the game's weird similarities to call of duty and Apex in which throws away the game's distinction from other generic titles

Jets need alot of improvements still, they have done alot better even in BF3 / BF4 but they did go with the sad physics BF5 had ...some things i noticed while playing the BETA was crucial:

Slow and un-maneuverable
Extremely inaccurate and weak gun
Awkward and unwieldy flight model
poor gunnery + poor flight model + fast missile lock on time = boring and repetitive missile oriented combat
strafing infantry is largely a waste of time

Last but not least, most impactful "NO speedcontrol"
