Something that, quite frankly, not a lot of developers can really account for, as is evident by every time I've figured out a combo or something that's just flat-out broken that nobody else seems to know about because it's not the meta. By extension these things never, or very rarely get patched, because so few people do them that it's not seen as an issue.

That's my main problem with metas. They leave no room for nuance.

See, here's the problem. On paper, I prefer classes. I like having a clear goal in mind with what my character is supposed to do with the equipment they have.

In practice, not being locked to certain weapons or equipment and having a more free-form loadout is much more beneficial since as DICE had said, their data has shown that time and time again, people would only pick classes based on what weapons they liked the most. Specialists have been being slowly introduced for the last 11-12 years or so, it's just that nobody seemed to have noticed.

Gunplay in general is decent but what brings it down and makes it the worst overall is the recoil. Basically to make this short and to answer your question easily. The patterns of recoil are inconsistent and based on RNG when you shoot. So when I'm about to push a flag in V I have this feeling that it will be 50/50 whether the recoil is good and consistent in hitting the enemy or going all crazy and missing every shot. I don't know why they used that method but it's shit

Same with proper vaulting and view bob animations. These have either been removed, or so downgraded it looks lazy. Not that the devs are, but you objectively cannot tell me the vaulting animations look better than any previous game lol.
