imo, its more that teamwork was way easier in say BFV, compared to 2042. there are way more options with the teamwork between specialists, but they now require comms. BFV may have had less teamwork possibilities, but it was more accessible for people without comms, which are most.

This is true but if the game in genuinely a disaster at launch then it's not good for the game even if the game improves over time. Look at BF5 for example. That game is a lot better now that what it was but because the issue leading up to launch and on launch a lot of people didn't even give it a second chance
