In battlefield 2 as i said i played with no friends. But in that time people knew who u were and your RANK mattered. I always got invited for private squad if some top players got in same server. I even found my old account on a battlefield website so i spent 989 hours on that game and i was around age 13-15

In battlefield 2 you needed to complete other medals to gain more ranks i kinda like it. Because it makes you work to progress
