It would be super easy to balance actually. You make it so instead of starting out with perfect accuracy you have to hold down the button for a few seconds which will reduce the size of the cone of fire until it hits max accuracy. And once you press the button you're locked into that spot until you either fire or cancel (which resets the fire cone) - That way the mortar will work against its intended targets which are entrenched players.

Basically the difference is that with specialists, there is one true gadget slot, which has all gadgets avaliable, regardless of class type the specialist is aimed for. The specialist's ability is the "2nd gadget", and cant be changed. All specialists have NO weapon restrictions, which can make for confusing and possible unbalanced gameplay later down the road.

I personally dont like specialists at all, but they are here to stay, and all I can hope for is tweaks and changes to them.
