BF has always been about the moments, just like life. That is what you remember. That time you shot a plane with a bazooka, or you and your squad capped the flag to win the round 5vs.20 style. Or when you parachuted down right in front of a tank and dropped some mines, suicide style, but stopped the flag capture. Or you drove that jeep loaded with C4 into the tank, which exploded and the wreckage flew over and took out some enemies. That is what makes Battlefield special.

Personal preference. Some people prefer the arena-shooter, constant-action type experience CoD provides, while others prefer the slower paced experience, with intermittent moments of intense action on a larger scale, and the sandbox that BF provides

i don't play arma 3, cause imo modern warfare doesn't really appeal too much to me, but i do play post scriptum or hell let loose. i love the focus on more cooperation and communication in those games. if you don't cooperate with your squadleader/commander, you will be running around like a headless chicken. in games like battlefield, you can still run and gun and have fun. i like both genres, but they're different in gameplay. it's like asking someone why she doesn't play dirt rally 2.0 24/7 when she enjoys need for speed.

Battlefield moments were built upon a game that cared about it's own formula. It was grounded, gritty, and focused. This game feels all over the place, like it's not sure what it's wanting to be. The movement has been downgraded from BFV so heavily, the Helis have been made to be so much easier than past games, Classes are not present, etc. Battlefield is not just about it's battlefield moments. Those moments came from games that were trying to be it's own thing. You can rendezook in garrys mod, but that doesn't make it a Battlefield game. Just how I feel, though.

I can get revenge for a fallen teammate and then revive said teammate.

To me, and to some others, that point is fairly short, a point the game regularly strays past into the realm of artistic freedom. about ze destruction, the bf2042 stuff reminds me a bit of voxels. very precise and pinpoints the exact damage of your rocket, but not as good looking as the more " scripted" destruction in bf1. i mean, you basically deal a set amount of damage in bf1 and it blows up the entire corner of a house always. though physics change the fall of the debris.

ok let me explain it to you, if you didn’t know the season changes every year. The players get better or worse, they might get better in some fields or worse in others or they could stay the same. Different players could change to different teams or new players could come and sign to other teams. that’s what happens in a season, in this case the 21/22 season. I would like to play the season that is ongoing, (21/22), because i’ve already played the last season to it’s fullest. I spend hundreds of hours at these games so i definitely get my money worth
