It's common sense a $60 price tag puts a lot of people off. When it's f2p people play for fun and spend $20 here and there. Another point on why I don’t think it should be free, how do many of these F2P games make money? They spend their time making cosmetics or charging a shit ton for “special access” type bullshit. Warzone has hundreds of skins and outfits but takes them over a year to implement a new cheat system. War Thunder has a premium coin system that lets you buy slots and new vehicles that, in some cases, are overpowered as fuck, even Battlefield had a F2P game called “Battlefield Online” and the developers did the bare minimum to have it working
