The way I see it, literally every support class character will be able to revive everyone, it's a trademark of the class in this game. But each support specialist will have a different revive perk it seems. Falck revives full health, anghel revives with some armor. There will probably be a support that revives instantly, etc

It’s not that there can’t be. It’s that there’s little incentive to do it. You need to trick players into selfishly playing like a team, that’s how you get people to do it. Either give players more score for using team-play items, or create systems that reward players more for playing like a team. And they will naturally do it. The average blueberry doesn’t care about being a team player. Only if it gives them some good feelies for doing it.

My general feeling is that a metagame for any competitive title isn’t established during a 2-4 day beta version of that game. Can squad play be encouraged better and improved overall from a development standpoint? Most likely, yes. Thankfully we have received a ton of feedback on that.

My personal view is that games like this are nuanced, and a meta takes some time to settle and find its groove. So as time passes with people in the game finding out what works and what does not, along with community feedback with the studio; I think we will strike a balance. It’s important first for the game to release, the feedback to have been analysed and acted on where possible. Then after some time we’ll see if tweaks are still needed.

As with any competitive multiplayer, meta grows, and constructive feedback is imperative.

That’s true. The lack of a commarose was a bit of a pain. I just mean, they need to give players more reason to choose an ammo box over an RPG. Because in the beta, it was almost pointless. Sure, you’re helping your team, but the average blueberry doesn’t care about that. The classes made it so the ammo box was almost always there, so if you were playing support odds are you had one anyway (and some people didn’t even drop one then.) IDK how to go about it, I’m not a gameplay designer. But there needs to be a reason for people to use it

I messed with all the weapons and tried to mess around and find out what I found fun instead of running the M5A3 every game. I found I really enjoyed the SMGs and they really shined around Point D and point C in the brush.

Thanks for that! Yeah, ultimately we are all a bit sensitive to change. Maybe things oversteered in one direction, but that’s what the feedback is for. Many game designers worked on the concept for the game and ultimately I have trust that they did things for the right reasons. So it’s important that we don’t make a knee jerk reaction and end up with something that doesn’t work at all.

That’s why things take a long time to happen sometimes - there’s a lot of small things (and big things!) to consider. Ultimately I would love to see a game that gets more community members involved. With Portal I think that’s a pretty great start, and believe me when I say DICE staff are constantly looking at what the community says even if it seems like we’re quiet.

Yeah I played since CE and I hated the pistol change then the BR was actually fun. Didn’t really enjoy H3 projectile change and I hated any form of sprint.
