You know full well the animation didn't begin from prone because the game doesn't have prone assassination animations. That wasn't a "from prone" kill because the animation required the character to stand up so it could be played, this is because the game devs are lazy and cut all corners in development to save money and effort making a barebones game so they could sell skins and cosmetics.

So some similarities I've picked up on between Battlefield 4 and 2042
-Both are battlefield games released right in the transition period of console generations
-Both were built with a next-gen priority meaning if you have a low end pc system or last-gen consoles, it was not built primarily for your system which sucks.
-Both received major design changes that were/are controversial. Battlefield 4 with including 3 factions, opening up weapon and gadget avaliability, and 2042 with it's near complete item availability and specialists instead of classes.
-Both had rocky Beta's that won't represent the full expectation at launch.
-and lastly, where Battlefield 4 was reliant on Battlelog at launch, 2042 won't be using the cross-game menu's of Battlefield 4, hardline, 1 and V
