What did they take that made bfv good? Bfv made all the classes so useful and extremely powerful, flares were a godsend and could be countered, medics smoke was amazing and essential for revives and pushing objectives, supports supressing fire can wipe squads and assault could destroy buildings and create new paths for your team. Tanks also no longer had infinite ammo so needed to retreat and the building made the maps always feel different

MW animations have something I think I've never seen anywhere else: human error. If you look closely you can see that the character doesn't precisely insert the mag. He slightly bumps the magwell. Or adjusts the belts in LMGs to make sure they'll function and won't jam. This all helps to sell the effect that special forces soldiers are still only human, despite of their lengthy professional training. MW19 really sets the bar way too high that it impacts not just in C_O_D but in the gaming industry as well. It's animation really makes you feel that you're holding a real firearm.
