for weapon feel there is a lot that goes into it. For one animations, sound, and also effects etc..
I can't "define" what I mean by weightless exactly, it's just a feeling.. but I think that it has to do with:

• Sounds from shots could be more "impact-full" if you know what I mean
• Animations and the fact there isn't a hard recoil let some weapons feel like Nerf guns (over extreme example but you get the point)
• Impact FX of the bullets isn't as impressive, also the muzzle flash isn't really that noticeable..
  I could go on, but there are many factors that go into it.

Plus, the animations for the movement features that are there, are so stiff and lifeless. Such a downgrade from previous BF games. Even bf3 had better gun bob and movement animations.

• then destroy the ledge, this is battlefield - you could always only vault over waist heigh objects, that makes sense - you aren't meant to swim much on this map so it makes sense why it isn't in the game yet - crouch running is mainly a ww2 thing - auto leaning was frustrating - proning is a fair point - catching your fall is a fair point too - they animations are actually pretty good, vaulting reminds me of BF4 and climbing reminds me of bf1, definitely not a downgrade - animations are honestly the best in the franchise with the exception of third person ones at this point

but then, if that was the case, expect 30-50 players just rocking snipers in a massive map and it is kind of a pain if you are a ground infantry player to get shot especially in orbital with the tall towers, so the bullet drop is more of a balancing thing than an inconvience

Gunplay is great, a huge step up from the already great gunplay from BFV. Movement isn't as clunky (Sometimes it is, but beta) so all good. Performance for me at least is even better than BFV. Map at first I thought would be boring, but in fact it is quite the opposite. I am still enjoying Orbital, haven't felt that burnout for the map.
