My problem with BF 2042 is that the specialist system has basically killed of any semblance of teamwork and structure that have been in long term decline since Bad company 2 introduce health regeneration in the franchise. Plus, the animations for the movement features that are there, are so stiff and lifeless. Such a downgrade from previous BF games. Even bf3 had better gun bob and movement animations.

The movement is an objective regression from BFV. BFV brought in so many good features and now its completely stripped down. There was no reason to intentionally downgrade what was good, rather than improve upon it.

I don't care for specialists much but they dont bother me. 4. maps are much too big, they feel empty and void of action. 5. helicopters are back to being broken. 6. the movement feels very stiff and weird. 7. damage drop off is way too extreme, especially with the map sizes we have. 8. TTK feels weird because of the problems involved. 9. ammo and med crates are literally not really possible to find all that much. People literally just throw it for themselves

Everything wrong with 2042 is fixable, even the specialist system. All they gotta do is actually use the classes that are still in the game (i.e. Falck is a support specialist) and lock some gadgets to certain classes. Boom, problem solved
