Alpha is an internally playable proof of concept for design decisions, Beta is for field-testing in a live environment and for refinement leading up to release, Demo is post-release marketing.

It's inefficient and not great business practice to launch a public-facing test which is still rough with gaping holes in it- realistically it should be small things which have been happening like balancing and networking rather than design elements which is reflective of where the game actually is at.

I think we're seeing that this beta is quite divisive and EA really could have used this opportunity to really win over consumers ESPECIALLY from their competitors i.e Call of Duty and Halo.

One month is not long in development time, even if you throw a tonne of development resources into it you will have a hard time making back lost time. i.e it takes 9 months for a mum to make one baby, you can't have 9 mums make one baby in one month (weird analogy but you get my point).

It's because the animations are extremely stiff and lifeless. If you compare it to BFV, for some reason the gun bob and gun movment is extremely stiff. The gun firing is not very impactful, either. The gun animations definitely need work imo.

i would recommend you turn FOV to 100 and coefficient to 100. i feel like it helps alot with that inconsistency but it is still there. also it requires alot more fine tuning than normal to make it feel "natural"

The TTD needs to be lowered. It’s literally my only complaint. Everything else feels great. But the gunplay is just inconsistent. Which sucks cause that’s probably one of the most important things. A game with this many players and maps this big shouldn’t have a TTK that is instant.

Scale, graphics, weather effects/levolution (the tornado and the rocket launch are genuine spectacles), vehicle call-in system (very cool when it works properly LOL, kinda bugged rn), the Plus system will be fun to play around with when the rest of the gun customization is added to the full game, and uhhhh.... yeah. It gets a lot wrong right now. But it's also just a really scuffed beta, you can't even open the map or see the enemy K/D ratio on the scoreboard or use text chat

You are right, graphic wise it is indeed an upgrade. But hope they understand the necessity of movement and I think they do since they added grapple. Manually leaning, crouch sprinting, proning in different directions is very helpful.
