IMO game is good, there's some things lacking but its fair for a beta build that is months old. Gunplay feels good enough with what's unlocked but vehicles atm feel a little too floaty.

Im not a huge fan for Orbital as a conquest map, but theres alot of breakthrough potential so im interested to see other game modes.

Weather events are sick, but its totally random. Tornados dont seem to bother games too much but I havent hit a scenario in my 6 hour play time that a tornado passes through a dense area, most people just run into it for fun, which it is.

Performance is average but again, old build so we dont know what has been optimized.

I feel like I am in the minority. I am getting 140-160 fps on HIGH, with an old CPU and New GPU lol. No lag, few sutters but obviously bugs but meh its aight! Great experience so far, the gunplay is smooth, feels punchy and meaty. The sound design is bloody great. The Tornado and weather effects are really nice and realistic. Heli flying is HEAPS of fun, legit can't stop flying one. Honestly I can go on and on. Sure its a beta, and there is work to be done, but honestly, loving it.

That’s how game development works. You can’t instantly deploy working builds to game servers and have them uploaded and verified to steam. Not to mention the extreme amount of testing to make sure the build even works and the resources required to deploy these servers

I'm exactly the opposite, I was excited for battlefield 2042, but not overhyped. All I really wanted is bf4 with better graphics. However, them removing classes, no create a class system for attachments (yet), poor performance, bugs, movement is way to fast and janky, the animations feel cheap, the "choose attachments on the go" is broken and you can literally change scopes while parachuting. The map is way too big for 128 players, didn't even notice more than 20 people together. In short, the game is decent at best, but is definitely not worth paying over 40 bucks for.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!! The 2142 style sights on the vehicles, AWESOME!!!!!!! It really feels like transport from 2142. The tanks are wonderful! A little sluggish on turrets but just awesome!!!! The superman visual bug where the dude is under the chopper is funny, random people floating through the air, but this is a fantastic game. I love the big maps, yeah, you actually have to think about where you're going or if you're defending, TIME IS A KEY TO BATTLE! This was a lot of fun.

no, the sights used in 2042 are the same style from 2142! Its such a wonderful callback and feels so familiar. The cooldown for the machine guns is the same. The off roader vehicle is crazy fun to drive and drift around. the zip line up to the top of the rocket tower or the construction building is fun. The tornado really does feel natural and you and the environment react as it should. it is not gamebreaking, its actually a really fun thing to experience.

If you guys are having performance issues make sure you have the latest drivers, then check your task manager/resource monitor to see what part of your computer is bottlenecking your gameplay, and go from there

my i7-7700k, 32gb 3200 ram, gtx 1080 sc on a z270 is holding really well at 60-70 fps on medium settings with the bloom, aberration and movement shaking off. its a very steady experience for me

Build is 3 months old. Confirmed from dice and here is my reasoning for why: That’s how game development works. You can’t instantly deploy working builds to game servers and have them uploaded and verified to steam. Not to mention the extreme amount of testing to make sure the build even works and the resources required to deploy these servers
