I am amazed that this battlefield still manages to run on ps4 and xbox one which is from 2013 or so. I know that optimisation is not easy. did my own game once and even it had shitty graphics it was running on low fps. battlefield v looks way better then what i did back then and runs even way better.

For those that have EA Play via game pass I found a way to download 2042 beta. I went to the origin website and logged in with my EA account that's linked to my MS account. searched for the 2042 beta and added it to my library. Installed Origin and was able to download the game. But when you launch it it says you need EA Play or to pre order to play the beta. However this still works for pre loading. When EA gets this sorted and 2042 beta is in "EA Desktop" app, just click install, and change the install directory to the BFV folder you downloaded. EA desktop will scan it and not re download

It's not working for the "EA Desktop" app which is a bummer since that's required for those of us with EA Play through gamepass but I was able to still pre load through Origin. Yeah it's a known issue. We have to wait till EA fixes it. But I was able to pre load using Origin. Once EA adds the 2042 to EA desktop I can just point EA desktop to the 2042 download and start playing
