it seems to be a thing with ps4 games on the ps5 in general

if you load in on a ps5 on bigger maps too fast, the game doesnt actually load properly and everyone becomes a bright yellow t posing statue and you cant use your guns because they dont load in

I think Criterion are wrapped on BF 2042 already, but that's info from a studio insider, not the studio itself

I personally always felt this game as a lot of potential but I'm glad they stopped supporting it to make bf 2042 and portal it seemed really more important as BFV was already down in terms of players amount

bf4 on ps5 is just as bad too, golmud literally loses all of its vegetation and trees and you can see everyone, everywhere

Anti-cheat is just as bad on previous games, for one thing. More importantly, BFV has a team balancer, it just isn't a mid-game balancer like BF1's, as getting swapped to the (usually losing) team mid round is really infuriating.
