Fast forward to 2021 where everyone’s expectations is they want larger scale and more creativity, only to criticize companies for not making games as historically accurate as possible by sacrificing creativity and returning to bare bones detail they could have pulled off in 2001

They had much more story focus around certain units to give it a more drama authentic feel. The gameplay was linear but it had more of WW2 in it than others, while having unrealistic chain of events and having the squad do basically every major accomplishment in the war lol
