Played some BF4 yesterday and when i compare it to BFV, they really have to get the balance right with the map design when it comes to tanks and choke points, BFV maps are actually good when it comes to choke points because u dont have them there. But BF4 is full of choke points, random boundaries and when u dont have buildings u jsut have plain ground, no really bushes or anytihng to conceal ur self with. i know that its old game but still, when u have the choke points and on top of that u have very quick/ nimble vehicles, it creates pain.

I doubt Xbox one and ps4 will get as long of support as people thought simply because it is not good press wise to waste time trying to get next gen titles to work on old hardware. Making maps is harder for DICE because they have to create the resources for the maps as well. That's the main difficulty for making maps, modeling, scripting, creating textures, etc.

When an SDK releases for a game that uses the resources from the game, It's easy to make maps because everything is pretty much done for you outside of the map layout.

So yes, the unreal engine user is correct in his assessment that he could do that.
