That it literally failed and EA gave both of them out for free. I got lucky and go a 3080 for 700. But that's with an autobuy bot. Searching online 24/7 and took me a couple of months. Also with extreme luck.

There's definitely diminishing returns as you go higher and i'm not diminishing the jump from 60 to 120hz for consoles which I think is great and a good compromise between graphics and fluidity but there is still tangible benefits to be had beyond 120hz

In practice for most games yes because you're not going to get that level of performance BUT in theory if hardware wasn't an issue you still get benefits even beyond 240hz. The better response times you have the more fluid the feel between mouse and and the action on the screen. And with regard panning left and right the higher hz you go the more the effect become like ULMB

Funny enough I'll probably play 2042 with a gamepad with other gamepad users. Have to make sure I set my controller up for game captures though. BF4 gamepad controls sucked so I stuck with KB/M for that game.
