Some variables there. For one, next gen-console can crossplay to PC. Meaning it won’t matter if you planned on playing via pc-console crossplay. Second, next gen consoles have significantly better file security than last gen, which makes file injection a lot harder, since to run cheats via a console you have to either A) have a computer linked to the console itself with a network bypass to access fileshare, or B) be able to brute force encryption keys (doesn’t matter as much for multiplayer based games).

Simply put, console will always have less of an issue than PC because people have to jump through hoops to make it work.

Even last gen will see less issues than PC

But PC has dealt with this issue since the growth of online gaming. The issue I’m concerned about is the population% vs player count

Just as an expamle, figures are not accurate at all. If you were to say 1% of the population on PC were cheaters, and just 1 cheater would ruin a match. In a 24 person match you would usually see one every 4 games, with 128 players it would be every game. Hopefully it doesn’t turn out poorly though and they’ve got cheating under control

Hey fellas sorry to bud in, but I just had a question about Battlefields 2042 Tech Playtest, I've been a play tester for quiet sometime now, but hadn't really had the time to participate in many play test recently, anyway I saw Battlefield 2042 was having a Play test so i went to enroll in hopes of getting in but noticed there was one in July 25th which I believe got pushed back til August 12th, then there was another one that said August 21st and it wasn't for NA users only, anyway come the 21st I didn't receive any invitation so had a look to see what other play test would be coming up, but now there was no August 21st playtest but one starting August 30th but it says NA users only, so my question is, was the one on the 21st cancelled?
