Single player experience being dependent on the dogshit pringle can servers and having every action and attack I do be delayed by 25ms minimum instantly made me refund. It is easily the most atmospheric war game I’ve ever played. Not to mention how much DICE respected it’s source material, and tried to pay dividends to all sides and theaters of the war. It felt like a respectful take on WW1. In many ways, it paved the way for other bigger FPS studios to give WW1 a try. It was a special game, one that I don’t ever see being replicated.

I feel like I got eased into BF a little easier than someone jumping straight from COD to 2042. Going from 6v6 to 64v64 will be wild for you. When I first started playing BF Online with BC2 it was 12v12. Then I got BF4 on the XBO and it was 32v32.
