Every one season (3 months) they will release 1-2 maps.
It's possible to be BF2042 map or previous BF map.

If there is only 2 years live service, it means the maximum they can make map is 16 maps and minimum is 8 maps (BF2042 + Portal).
So total map in BF2042 include Portal will be 29 maps or 21 maps.
