Battlelog was brilliant. You could have it on 1 monitor and game on the other, it even had a battlemap so you could have the map on the other monitor while gaming.

It also connected you in platoons and made communities, you could keep track of servers. It also made the game run better as moving all those functions to a seperate process better utilized more memory and unused CPU cores. Patching Battlelog could also be done seperatly to the main game thus could have more frequent updates without having to go through console validation etc. HTML technologies are also way easier to make fast, responsive and dynamic than adding it in C# through the game.

Battlelog was brilliant, having to tab to it is to me irrelevant and the only other downside was that too many people had issue with their browsers which should have been solved with the option of an embedded Chrome instance.
