Well I don't put 100% into games, I am a casual gamer, but my point still stands for everything else. Can you play switch games or gamecube games or wii games on a console, can you run at an unlocked frame rate, can you fix aspects of cyberpunk 2077 with mods, can you have dual monitors, discord is superior than party chat, can you use kb+m which is superior in fps games, can you play games like dayz, rust, or games with large inventory systems easily. My point is that consoles are cheaper but you lose control, yes if you want to game ONLY then consoles are fine. But pc gives you the flexibility and control that consoles do not.
