I get they mean that you have to be online on origin and whatnot to play but will that mean you'll have ping against bots cause my internet sucks and I was hoping I'd be able to at least play against bots until a better option came around

If you are the only player in a server with just but bots, it should be possible to make it adjust so even bad internet players still play fine. The server would not have to send data to other players which in theory should help alot.
