Highly dependent on the games engine and how it utilizes it, I have games that rely a lot more on CPU than GPU even at higher settings, Frostbite is an engine that prefers CPU

the method they used for destroying buildings in 1 and 4 was exactly the same, clever model swapping, 1 just had some minor touch ups, but like I said I am still salty they removed the crumbling building thing
