We got bf4 as the main modern shooter of the battlefield franchise back in 2013, it's been 8 years and yes they released it for previous gen, it wasn't a game launch back then. Now we are onto series x and PS5. I don't think they will be releasing another Battlefield modern day shooter on the current gens of today. To bring me to my point. Why not make to PC. You literally lose, your progress, backwards compatibility with that gen players and the most current gen (given the time) enhancements if you are on previous gen. PC just ain't like that

Yes it is helpful. But think of all the things it's good for as less of a reason why we wouldn't need it's replacement. What I'm saying is people work hard to get height advantage in BF4 tower maps and that's gonna become irrelevant soon. Not that I'm disappointed in the idea, it brings a whole new game play style to the table and that is dope, it's just snipers will no longer get to play with pea shooters secondaries and need to consider and take in mind their equipment more.

Getting to the top on some maps is a neck break. The grappling hook would sure help but the "damage" it will have on game styles imho will be catastrophic. I am sounding ott but if you really think how much snipers rely on peace of mind when sniping and the whole "only can get here with a chopper so I only need to look for chopper" style is now gone. Literally gonna need tugs for C4 and eyes on the back of yo head

Height limitations on the reel distance or y position like "running out of oxygen", I can't think of the exact working for the second point but its when some sort of factor tapers off or on when going up, say: gravity, oxygen, air pressure etc. I say this because if this is not a mechanic (given the buildings won't even be 409km tall (example) we wont be running out of oxygen anytime soon. If this is not a mechanic then this won't stop people from using buildings as stairs and wing suiting over to the other position.

Basically tower hopping or some sort of factor that limits the height when grappling (like a y axis kill zone) but not that harsh or broad if you catch my drift. Otherwise height will be limitless in obtaining with grapple. Sure it will take the user time, but the effects like I said before can factor so much else
