sure it had its fair share of graphical bugs, but its world design and story is unmatched imo. it looked fantastic especially with rtx on. no city felt as huge as night city. and then it's story man...goddamn, the people felt real. i went in expecting witcher 3 with guns and got more than that. more like deus ex ish gameplay. and lets face it, w3 gameplay wasn't much to write to home either, but similary it was the story that held up its weight and the world design

when you preorder you essentially buy the game in advance so if you preorder digitally you'll download the game beforehand but be able to play it as soon as it releases and with physical copies if you preorder at a retailer you just essentially buy your copy in advance
and preorders do often come with ingame bonuses like weapon skins for example
