For GPUs I will use PTM 7950 that last pretty much an eternity

Searched it up seems like 80C is alright for the GPU, and in task manager it looks like bf2042 is pushing my CPU alot as well

Ugh there is a difference between thermal pads and thermal compound, thermal compound (cooling paste) is basically the same as PTM 7950 only thing being that PTM gets better in time and the cpu/gpu temps will drop after more thermal cycles

But 80 on a laptop GPU is not bad, CPU will get quite hot in 2042, generally speaking 2042 is quite demanding and it will push the machine to its limits

My laptop is pushing 100C in 2042, my issue though is that Dell put element 31 on it which is galium if I'm right which is conductive, so first I'd need to clean the liquid metal off, it's annoying as hell and takes quite some time, but once I do it I'll put PTM 7950 on both CPU and GPU

if you are from EU from example you will get put in EU servers, same goes for other regions like NA and Asia

even back in the day when the game came out 1-2 months after release we were struggling in EU to find games after 12-1 AM

so to get put in NA matchmaking you need a VPN unless you have buddies from NA who invite you to their squad and then you will be put in NA

downside of not having server browser

at this point in time I'm pretty sure only EU and NA have active HZ games and that's also between certain hours

the player movement from 2042 was more like cod movement, and the gunplay from that, basically everyone was just a sweat in that one

redsec is disappointing on some aspects but still better than warzone IMO

The player movement was more fluid wym. Every time I stop moving I go like an extra step forward now and it’s kinda annoying tbh but that could just be my lag. Air vehicles I still think have horrible movement, I like how the jets are but the helicopters are absolutely trash. Tanks and all those have slightly delayed movement atleast from what I’ve experienced but again could be my lag.

Now comparing it to cod, the movement may not be the same but the guns are just as jank as I mentioned before, you can’t even win without having a specific attachment or 2 and even then somehow SMG’s still smack harder then LMG’s. They haven’t changed a thing compared to BF4 besides better destruction physics and different maps, at the very least they could have made it so we can like interact with a workbench in game to change attachments in game like in 2042, that was an amazing aspect to BF. Everyone are still sweats in BF6 especially with the unbalanced and jank vehicle and weapon gameplay.

Now about redsec and warzone. Name 1 thing redsec has that warzone doesn’t besides vehicles cuz we all know cod doesn’t prioritize their vehicles. Besides that tho if you wanna talk about gunplay I can go back to SMG’s and how they 3tap from what I’ve seen. And just because movement is slower and slightly different in mechanics doesn’t mean people don’t go slide rushing entire building, plus with HE Launcher you can just decimate said building if you prefer not to rush it. And with redeploy you can just get landed on and absolutely obliterated bcs of redeploy kit being an SMG 9 times outta 10. I’ve bought em all and I actually got phantom edition for BF6 cuz I genuinely thought it would be like a revolutionary game like fnaf was for indie genre.

But they became like cod and rushed it after beta

I mean if we’re talking about destruction physics, I’ve used almost every shell on concrete walls and some walls don’t break. Like some do but then some things like pillars don’t. If they made destruction physics where pillars being destroyed could collapse the whole structure then that would create some insanely cool gameplay for heavy artillery vehicles such as the MBT/Attack Helicopter/Any Jet

Plus they don’t even have customization for vehicles compared to BF4 even. Seriously disappointing to even compare to 2042

Well tbh things like jets are great, I like the speed control and maneuverability but what I don’t like is how slow helicopters are, even trying to use em is impossible in game modes like conquest because everyone can just rpg you, they are surprisingly strong and basically 1tap jets or Helis outta the sky

Like helicopters, sure they have okay movement mechanics but like one example would be not being able to go in any direction while the helicopter is going upwards only downwards so it leave you completely vulnerable when tryna gain altitude. And overall they are just really slow when not moving downwards to gain speed. And like I said rpg’s take advantage of all that and just obliterate them so it’s impossible to even level em up unless using the portal and bot lobbies

the only issues i have with helis at all is the speed, and SPECIFICALLY on the attack heli, the FPV view

But in 2042 or any other version I don’t got any issues with players tanking helis and shi like that. Besides lock on missiles that gets annoying but if I get cooked outta the sky from an rpg there’s something going on as an air main like you

I don't think it's a bug mate, from what I remember, you're able to see your teams beacons, but you aren't able to spawn of them, they can see yours but they can't spawn on them, I think it's so you can see where others have placed theres and make a decision on where to place yours

No I believe battlefield 6 is a great game, but I loved 2042 also, there different in their own right.
Bf6 is what battlefield style is, and I believe they just about perfected it, but 2042 was a fun twist bringing in that fast paced style, rough start but I believe had quite a lot of potential

if you have a VPN then connect with it to EU and you'll find more players, or wait for afternoon/evening

if there is any OC remove it and if the temps are high, clean the PC if that doesn't help then you might need to repaste CPU and GPU, would start with CPU since it's easier GPU takes time and you need to be more careful since it's a naked die, no heatspreader on it

I dislike it just due to the lack of fun, however you may enjoy it. You can get a taste of the game with the free to play Redsec mode. Then if you like that you can purchase the base BF6 to get the full experience.

Is the ttk balanced like it is in Bf 2042?

I die constantly in BF6 getting killed from people I don't see most of the time. Can only stand to play it for a few minutes. 2042 is much more forgiving. Also vehicle combat is great in 2042, BF6 is lacking good vehicle combat. BF6 is kind of like EA trying to mash Call of Duty into the Battlefield game setting.

2042's matchmaking has been broken for at least 8 days now causing almost empty lobbies and black screens when joining a match. EA is aware however no solution yet, the problem is on their end as it affects all platforms.

This is ridiculous now. EA used to engage the 2042 community and support their game with quick patches to game breaking issues. Now they just leave matchmaking broken for 8 days and don't say a word about it.

I can't speak for your region, however in North America there are still many players. We played Breakthrough every night and for the last week PC/PS5/XBOX Series have all been having the same matchmaking problems. There is a lengthy thread about the issue in the official EA Support forums.

What's most annoying is when you find a full breakthrough map the EA servers scatter all players into new lobbies after it's finished and you have to start from scratch finding players in the lobby. There's no persistent EA servers people can join.

They make it difficult on purpose so people play BF6
