there are situations that make the glare less visible, like if they're peeking out of a sneaky headglitch you see less glow, but yeah I don't think it can be fully disabled at all

If you play, I would say breakthrough... and cycle through any operator and max out your ribbons. If you're defending - run Blasco and use the jammer and a TUGS. Then swap over to a medic class for those specific ribbons. After you max out all your ribbons just focus on healing/ ammo resupply for XP.

Work towards getting ALL ribbons in a game - it's pretty easy and that will get you the most XP possible on top of kills, etc..

I do not recall what all Elite does, it does give you access to some weapons others can never get.

If you mean the pass, it is various cosmetics, some actual usable stuff in 2042, but is mostly about getting the BF6 rewards.

Also focus on the weekly bonus for the challenges. Don't get too caught up in easy ones that will come passively (like headshots, revives for instance).

Any mode can net you all/most ribbons consistently. Conquest gives you more chances with vehicles for repairing and firing out of with more objectives switching hands.

You can play the Recon class, Casper. He has a drone. If you find a map with a big open battlefield you can spot a bunch of players and vehicles extremely quickly. You will get intel ribbons in seconds
