It's just, meh, battlefield just does it all better. I thought I'd enjoy the extraction mode, but 5 types of ammo and 5 types of armor is just ridiculous. Just a stupid design choice.

I think 2042 just has issues with map design and player movement. Even I can't be bothered to try "get gud" and I've played battlefield for years. My tips would be to used smoke to move about, use vehicles as they can be a lot safer than just running out in the open. I really wouldn't choose to play 2042 tho, much better things to be playing

TLDR when you hack an enemy infantry, not only does it spot them through walls for 2 seconds, it also spots and highlights anyone within 10 meters of them through walls. If the hacked target dies while hacked the entire squad is then wall hack spotted for 10 seconds (persisting through respawning)

installed it, when i first launched it, it told me to update the anticheat
the link it told me to go to didnt work
searched online and found javelin anticheat installer on ea's site
used that, repaired and updated it for bf2042 and verified file integrity on steam and launched the game
first: launched till the splashscreen, then crashed
second: played the intro cutscene then crashed midway
third: was doing accessibility settings then crashed midway
fourth (now): queued for a iwo jima (i think thats the name?) and was waiting for players to populate the lobby and the game crashed
it doesnt even say why the game jus closes

Helicopters were slowed down a bit and given more momentum rather than being extremely sensitive to make them require more skill to fly aggressively, and more predictable to counter as infantry. They are more than capable of dodging anything still tho

next week you'll need to be at (5.5x2)+21.5 tiers, so 32.5
