It is trying to be more realistic but i think gun aiming using CCIP mode is not accurate or realistic. I can do better in a flight simullator using joystick than I do with mouse when aiming the gun on flying targets in bf6! Also, to be realistic you need to still be able maneuver your jet when in 1st persin view and looking around for situational awareness. In bf6 or bf2042 the moment you turn pilot head to look around you lose the ability to control the direction of jet. And I use 3rd person view rarely as hate that view…

I wouldn't stand bheind a tank unless you are comfortable with the driver. I find that in 2042 the drivers are way less likely to position the vehicle in a way to help you stay a live. I also think they just die really easily and because of that a lot of players do not priotize healing them. Its way more common in BF5/BF4 in my experience to stand behind a tank and be able to actually heal it

I would say start learning flanks, learn better positioning, don't run out into the open if possible, learn choke points in maps, use smokes if there is not cover

Swapping sights is ok, muzzle attachments makes it so you can just run suppressor with no downsides whenever, ammo is broken and lets you have 3x ammo for any gun, and underbarrels lets you have 2-3 grenade launchers on you at all times
