There is only NATO and Pax Armata as main teams and factions in BF6. No multiple subfactions like the several 2042 had skins of at this time, besides the US and RU ones contracting No-Pats or whoever out for teams.
Vehicles are more likely to have a greater amount of them later.

Draugr has to commit to either full anti infantry or full anti armor, and in either scenario they are still good at fighting air. So maybe the a10 and su25 can do both while being worse against air. A side grade I guess

I heard Dice and Frostbite was working on a self learning AI system that would preform as good as real players and fill in empty spaces when there's not enough people online. I didn't think they would actually do it. I guess it gives the game a longer shelf life in case anyone wanted to revisit it.
Now that I think about it EA had bots placed in multi player matches in BF2042 when they saw not enough people was online for matches to start.

Repaired, reinstalled AC, validated files on steam, repeated everything and opened EA Play and Steam and ran BF from EA, turned on compatibility and run as administrator on AC, .exe, steam and EA, uninstalled everything and reinstalled, i already have Secure Boot on, turned off overclocking and underclocking, closed MSI Dragon, and ThrottleStop, turned off antivirus, manually installed Digital Signatures for the .exe and AC, all drivers up to date, reset my pc to factory (made the problem worse), claned steam download cache, disabled fullscreen optimizations, reinstalled VC, windows is up to date, added AC and .exe to firewall on private and public, added both as an exception, turned off every overlay i could find (discord, nvidia) im sure i did a lot more since ive been having the crashes for 2 weeks, im sure its something with the AC, BF4 works and BF6 beta never crashed, and im having the same problem on BF1 which uses the same AC as 2042, so tired of it let me know if you have any other solution i can try please

With 2nd weekend beta for bf6 is it cooking your gpu? even if you turn the gpu OC Off? this game has my gpu on life support running at 100 degress which is extreme no other game does this when i go idle it comes off life support back to the 30 - 40s. forgot to mention i run everything low or off for graphics for the frames. update managed to get it to drop to 60's by capping the fps to 130s which is so unfortunate...

I had a quick scan of the message and I think you mentioned controller if so support for it in 6 is a big question mark for simultaneous use, you need to make sure you're on steam for that as the platform is designed to handle inputs right at a minimum

Only way to get the temp to decrease was capping my fps to 120 - 130 🫠 but anything above 200fps just stays at 90 - something 100 degrees which is not ideal. Anything above 300 let’s just say it’s on even more life support which I very shocked it ain’t blue screened at all never had this issue last week for beta. Other games temps are fine

copy that as a CFG file for BF6 obvs change the thread count etc to match your cpu this will improve the fps and get rid of that hidious blur. You wont get banned you are not tampering with anything all you doing is rather than enter it by the command in the game it will automatically load them all. you will notice firing range and character will look like you turned the lights off thats normal but when you load in actual game it looks the same dw but enjoy fps boost.

It is some test to see if the user actually knows the full extent of what those parameters specify, or if it is just incomplete understanding that may hurt more than help.
For example, assuming the thread arguments are just manually telling the engine what CPU Core and Thread amounts are available/desired for it to use at most, as well as assigning a thread priority that will reduce lag or improve performance. When in fact, they do not quite do that, and some should not even be specified at all as they invite breakage.

ok, I'll just provide clarification then, the thread.maxprocessorcount 24 and maxprocessorcount 16, are wrong, the argument of 24 does nothing here, maxprocessorcount (not thread), is the global lock the engine uses, so what you're actually doing here, is specifying a thread allocation of 16 without realising it, setting the jobthreadpriority to 0 means the game's auto scheduler can't deallocate and allocate priority threads correctly, since you have it set to 0, and not 16 for the minimum, it means it needs this to work properly, I don't think you particularly understand what the consequences are of what you posted

If you set High Performance power plan in Windows, you get that usage anyway. It by default clamps minimum and maximum usage to highest values to have constant usage, both active and idle, to avoid throttling when usage drops.
Just turn off Intel SpeedStep or AMD CoolNQuiet/PowerNow in UEFI/BIOS settings as a way to stop throttling and not have to set max usage on the power plan.

i have that same issue too, usually play on 1920x1440 because of performance issues on a 4k monitor, on maps that are orange it's really hard to spot them as the uniforms blend in with the map.
hopefully the game gets better in terms of performance on release.

At least in this conflict, it is easily explained as having women that would also serve as base personnel, communications, logistics, or corps of engineers roles in peacetime being thrust into primary, constant frontline infantry roles due to just how dire the conflict has gotten.

So far, the establishment is that it is a multi-nation PMC that is mounting a campaign of aggression. Alongside the withdrawal of EU member states from NATO, Pax Armata has in effect swooped in and replaced Russian, several Middle Eastern, Asian, and Eastern European nations' militaries, crushing, absorbing, or sidestepping them in establishing itself as the replacement management.
However, it has also gotten brazen, implied to be the ones to have assassinated a U.S. General as part of weakening NATO further, and also clearly invading the U.S. through New York. Beyond that, not much else.

The Assault Stims in BF6 Beta only provide proximity spotting or enemy awareness. They do not heal anymore.
Another difference is that NATO and Pax forces have almost Desert pattern (Beige with slight green tinge) and Desert Urban pattern (Beige and Black/Dark Green) appearances on either Beige or Grey/Snowy maps, with warm incandescent lighting colors as opposed to the CFL or LED-like white tone most of 2042's lights, so at least one of the teams is going to blend in at any one time. Ranged, Pax have thinner profile, so may be a little harder to train on them. Not impossible, but a little bad.
What I would advise is cutting off all the filters the game has. Not only ones you knew from 2042, like turning down Motion Blur sliders, turning off Chromatic Aberration, and turning off the Vignette FOV border, but also the new one that is Film Grain. Cut that off as well. You can also turn off TAA now, so go do that under Modify settings.
Extra note is, mind how you turn the mouse now. Maybe set it a little higher, but know that there is so much more inertial handling emphasis and delay in BF6 that has to be accounted for when moving around, just before fully ADSing and training on a target. Quickdraws and flatter cameras like 2042 don't handle the same way now; BF6 is closer to Bad Company 2, BF3, and especially Medal Of Honor 2010 MP in the running and gunplay department.

While it kind of possible to quick slide in BF6, it is not actually sliding at all. Just rebinding to Toggle Crouch, and entering the crouch sprint and canceling it to stand back up, like the BC2 days of dodging gunfire or hopping through windows.

I get why they'd do it because the month and a half wait for bf6 is going to be super long
but at the same time, i can't grasp the idea of literally anybody who, after playing battlefield 6, would go back to 2042

It was around 1-3GB or so for some Store Bundles and weekly content a while ago. Unless this got conflated with the UH-60 in 2042/Fujin Ronin Bundles Update, or the Bradley and BMP-2 in 2042 Update.
The map asset data is probably the bulk of its file size, followed by the vehicle asset. The rest is the weapon assets.

It will, bf6 will be expensive and has a high bar to hit post launch. But people will be interested in playing battlefield. And 2042 has a lot cheaper methods of entry
