SBMM can be done well in games like CS GO or R6 Siege because they are competitive games from their initial idea, no one is playing R6 to have a ''casual'' experience

Specifically, Valparaiso, as the biggest I could find online was very, very low-res. One of my favorite things about Battlefield 2042 was the loading screen art. Now, since the new update, it's been covered with useless information I already know because I know what game mode I clicked on just seconds before. The only information I needed to know was which map I'm loading into, which the old loading screen already used to do with its gorgeous uncovered art.

Are there any plans to have a setting that reverses this change? And if not, will all the loading art be uploaded anywhere? Only a few were.

Cheaters are obvious, just look up their #stats and usually it's the hs% that gives it away

this is not correct anymore, only for rage hackers. cheat providers got smart.. the bot can be set to anywhere on the body, and even be made to look natural and miss the occasional bullet however its still the accuracy that does usually give them away as they cant resist. that being said if they toggle the bot while using walls its possible to play and still look natural most of the time, only toggling when they know its a tight situation. i played with a guy for 4 years on cod who it turned out was cheating but you would have never know until he slipped up and showed his sh1t in a discord stream by accident!

If it's a laptop it really depends on the CPU. If you got a 4-6 core cpu then lower resolution to 1366x768. If it's 8+ core cpu then check your ram speeds. Most laptops only come with 8g of ram.

It's certainly dated but yeah the major difference is just how BF2042 runs compared to literally every other FPS. Even Rivals which runs worse after the removal of the config doesn't throttle my PC as hard.

I don't monitor framerate as much but I'm usually around 180FPS when I've done tests.

Even low settings won't help. 2042 is very hardware demanding. Especially on the cpu and ram. I had a gtx 1650ti and 4 core i5 1300. But I upgraded to a faster m.2 and 32gb of ram. But it was good enough for 1366x768 at 75 fps on low settings. But nothing else running like obs.

No more seasons. There will be event pass things which are smaller than normal battle passes, 30 tiers instead of 100

There was one in October and probably another one soon

It was Halloween theme in October and maybe a st Patrick's day one for March or something

In the most recent patch they fixed an issue with them so that's my reasoning for thinking one will be coming soon

Any devs in here? It would be nice for conquest 64 and breakthrough if you removed the minimum players needed to start a game so us that prefer crossplay off can get into games. For some odd reason the liquidators event yesterday didn't have a minimum and it was fun actually getting to play against other players on Xbox without having to sweat against PC constantly.

They have massive advantages over console. It would be better if we at least had input based options to keep it more level and unfortunately 2042 doesn't have a server browser for official MP.
