Snipers killing people is a small part of the issues with snipers. Their main issue is that they throw off the game balance. Too many snipers on your team compared to the opposite team typically means you loose the game. Getting killed by snipers are also pretty much the least fun way to die. They are just a pain to balance.

Enemy have no clue where they're getting shot from and the bullet velocity is incredible

Velocity is good enough to fish for headshots effectively

Having worked with people having stuff made in China and other countries kinda like it, my experience is that if you try and have something manufactured, they will try and trick or cheat you much of the time. Your quality control will need to be very good, every time. The quality can be fine, but so many bad things are shipped.

Its a pretty good way to learn the game/find the weapons you like TBH. Lots of weapons get better as you unlock extended mags, heavy ammo, ETC.

AP ammo unlocks at 210 kills for the guns I checked so it may be easier to just do the c4 method

It looks like the player count for front lines should be 20 vs 20, but there may be a config wrong because it's filling up with 64 vs. 64 bots.

Is anyone having issues with the Dec 5th 4070 driver (#566.36)? If I update the driver, BF2142 always crashes out, "direct3d could not allocate sufficient memory to complete the call", freezes screen, and I even got 1 BSOD. Graphics programs also bugged. I have re-installed the previous driver, and it works again. I had thought maybe the new update from EA might have fixed it, but not yet. Anybody else? I know about removing all non-essesntial devices, lowering settings, clearing cache, adjusting RAM, ect. I think this is clearly a driver issue.

I haven't had any issues on BF2042 with this driver version on my 4080. Do you mean 2042 and not 2142 ? I always do a clean install when updating drivers. Did you try DDU and perform a clean driver install ?

I'm not sure about vehicle damage, but I just went into Solo Conquest with AI. Kills, vehicle kills, and vehicle damaged counted for me. I am not sure if it is different when trying to unlock the railgun or not. You can easily level you weapons and vehicles in solo.

Yes, to all that! I did mean 2042, and I do a clean install. before all the rigamaru, I reinstalled driver, when that didnt work I installed the old driver, which worked, as clean install. When the new update for EA came out, I tried the Dec.5th driver again, as clean install, but again that made it always crash. I am back to old driver, but I see there is a windows update since I last posted, ill check it out.

Sounds like their fix was related to changing the core ratio for thier cpu. Glad yours was a simple as rolling back the Nvidia driver version.

I have a i-9 14900KF, I will try the "intel extreme tuning utility program from their website and creating a specific profile with reducing the cores to 54x or 53x to switch to when running BF2042 seems to be the easiest option for this fix and working." -Thanks for the Link!

2042 glazing is cringe, you have the attitude problem lol.

The maps are in 2042 are terrible, terrible for 128 and there are issues where too many players close together in a map would cause performance issues.

I get this directX error intermittently when trying to manually resize the games window. DirectX Error: DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" Failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET ("The device failed due to a badly formed command. GPU: "NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3080", Driver: 56614 This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; Try installing the latest graphics card drivers.

Clean install of windows & graphics card driver with the latest never fixes the issue. Graphics card driver is always upto date.
