Probably for 2 or 3 reasons

1. They are next to no threat to tankers and usually infantry, so why waster the ordinance.

2. Some of the time, they are in hard to reach areas, due to the nature of the vehicle (Aka, you do better in them if you play less dirct/more campy)

I normally don't go out of my way to destroy AA, nor would I usually waste a rocket at range to damage one. But if I see one close and I have C5, I'll try take it out.

I hope next game has less flat and more rounded maps with better terrain ups and downs to block sight lines. The flatness of maps in this game makes vehicle like AA not specifically OP, but does maple them annoying due to really long sight lines.

My favorite at the moment. Between the T-UGS, Spawn beacon, and the jammer, you can be a major pest to get completely off of an objective. I like to protect one objective the whole game and do my best to keep it for my team. It's a lot of fun to play that way. I like to use the BSV and M1911 both silenced and make myself hard to kill.

To be effective in AA against air targets, you kinda have to play like a venus fly trap. Don't immediately shoot at every target you see, instead make them feel safe flying closer to your position. When they get too close, shred them with your main cannons

AA is pretty good, but I don't use the heavy/ranged rounds cos they feel kinda crappy velocity wise. You need to lead target too much at range to land hits, which remove the usefulness of their extra range

If 2042 doesn't have an option for it (not sure, I haven't messed with it) you can use a program called MSI afterburner to set a refresh rate for a specific application or make a global setting for all games.

I would expect 2042 to have an option for that somewhere in the settings though.

The answer to why I hate recons is because it's the least useful of the 4 classes and by choosing to snipe, you are essentially choosing to play 1v64 and actively hurting the team in any objective based game mode

Every time I have a recon join my squad, I will immediately kick them because I already know what they will do

Part of that reason is that recon is very good with communication, but if no one’s paying attention, or doing anti-vehicle, it’s kinda on them, not the recon.

If you know how to sneak up to the vehicle, C5. Two charges on the back of most vehicles will destroy them with the exceptions being the T20, M1A5, MAV and Brawler
Recoilless holds one more rocket than RPGs, has a better drop and has a range finder you can use with the scope for longer ranged shots
RPG has the better damage of the two launchers at the cost of one less rocket

Best Sights are up to personal preference, really.

Keep in mind that 4x and higher magnifications on long rifles will produce a glint

Failed to upload game data to the cloud it happens every time I load the game after 15 to 20 minutes of game play I reinstalled the game multiple times re install windows, run the game as administrator. I have 32gb of ddr4, 4080 gpu, i7 14th gen cpu

Try repairing the file. If that doesn't work. It's probably your internet connection or something that deals with your connection. Even if you have a good connection. I ran into the same problem especially if it's wifi. Or even ethernet depending on your internet courier. Could also be your subscription depending if it's through steam, game pass or the EA app. Sometimes when your late on subscription membership it acts funny with errors. Your rig is plenty to push 2042 smoothly. I have 32gb ram, gtx 1650 ti, i5 10300h. And I can run on low settings 1080p or medium 720p. 60 fps.

But I am upgrading my rig here soon. Thank goodness. Lol

I wouldn't put it past dice. They hate budget hardware users apparently. They've always put more and more cpu demanding events.
Like I can't play no 128 mode because of my hardware is so dated. 64 modes is the most I can get. Even 64 xl rush pushes my hardware to it's limits. 128 isn't even avaliable on old Gen console like Xbox one or ps4.
Player base would be higher if Dice was more focused on old Gen console and slightly dated hardware users.
They would have alot less issues too. Like you have a great rig. And still have issues. But Dice is Dice. 😒🤷‍♂️💯

I would have to disagree the character movement feels terrible, clunky, light. I think it's because of the weapons, the weapons is the main cause of bad movement. If you use the lmg you can feel how heavy it is & the movenment slows down a bit making it just right. If you use the handguns for example their is no weight at all, like your holding nothing also the footsteps sounds too light no bass.

I was the same, and still am in a way. For me, the fun comes from doing well and getting better, but if reaching the next step is all you play for, you can't enjoy the current step if that makes sense.

I understand totally what you mean, but it's all about making small gains and playing the best you can currently rather than always looking up to someone else and feeling in their shadow.

If you make a good kill, focus on that, and forget the rest. Be reflective of any mistakes you make and aim to correct them, but don't take those mistakes too harshly. Enjoy the small gains

I am trying my best but my biggest issue still seems to just be seeing enemies without the massive red spotting thing if that makes sense and not having a spotting flare like BF1 is just, kinda painful lol or I might’ve been too reliant on it but anyhow. I’ve found some specialists I like which is great but part of the problem aside from the seeing enemies thing is that I think I’m in cover and safe from being shot and then a random stray flank or a tank will just blow me up from kingdom come.

then in 2042 you also have that BS ability they gave vehicles...to spot you if you do damage to them. Like vehicle needed any more help!

The vehicles its on are especially annoying, beign the RAM (Fastest moving), Brawler (Most armored) vehicles

destroying vehicles alone is a challenge. you have to surprise them basically. theres definitely ways to close the gap (sundance, mackay, parachute on them from above) but in a lot of cases the 2042 maps are just wide open so you cant really get in there.

i always had the most success solo killing vehicles with mackay
