I think balance is the wrong term to use. Because balance implies that something was imbalanced. What it did was remove choice from making your weapon.

In FPS games and their weapon customization, you basically choose what you want it to excel at. Be it CQC, medium range, or long range. The plus system in 2042 removes that choice from the game. By allowing you to ALWAYS have the best CQC, medium and long range setups on your weapon at the touch of a button.

For me at least, weapon customization became VERY stale once all weapon attachments were unlocked. Id simply place the 3 best mags, the best under-barrel for recoil control, a laser sight for hip-fire and a nade launcher/master-key, and then a short barrel, wrapped suppressor and standard barrel. then for scopes a red dot, and a 3.5/4x.

All of those things allow you to make a weapon good at close, medium and long range for almost any weapon.

Once you have your weapon set, you generally never need to touch the customization screen again TBH. Which is what made it boring.

But I completely agree with you that the plus system is ultimately boring and thats a critical sin above imbalance.

Sometimes when the game is loading, some phrases appear and generally the phrases are tips and recently I read a phrase in the game that said "shoot the enemy helicopter with armor-piercing ammunition to break stealth mode" and then earlier today, I was playing and I aimed with the AA towards the enemy helicopter but the "stealth mode" message appeared so I fired with a rifle that had armor-piercing ammunition and I saw that it did a lot of damage but when I aimed again with the AA, the stealth mode continued so I I felt like a clown

I have a doubt, this is not the first time that I have passed over or close to a body of a "dead" enemy and my soldier opens his hand and closes it quickly as if he had caught something so much so that the game even emits a sound but when I I press the key, for example, to get the grenade, simply nothing happens, so I think that this animation and the sound are just to immerse me in the game and consequently become useless

I play on Xbox and mostly use the Elite Series 2 controller. I know it’s not stick drift as this is the only game where I’m experiencing this issue. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I’m still experiencing this issue. I don’t know what else to do, the game is pretty much unplayable for me.

Tanks in 2042 arent deadly enough against infantry, but the maps are at fault also

For vehicles in general, I have a hard time telling when the aps is active or not

Sometimes it's obviously red and green, others it's a shade of red (to me) but active

Other times I'll be close up and be a rocket away from destroying and 3 people insta spawn out and shoot before I have any chance to react
