evening ... is anyone experiencing the new (last ~1.5 week) issue where TDM attempts to do match making / balancing between every game? it's causing major problems because:
- it's splitting up our party into different games based on individual skill levels. so we have a party of 4 guys who came out for the explicit purpose of getting in some squad play together, being on Discord together, and it's blowing that up. and this is something we've been doing almost every night since BF2042 came out.
- it's adding a lot more time between games so less time to play.
- it's totally broken the standard rotation order. before you knew the sequence and now players have no idea what map is coming next. furthermore, i've read reports that some people might get the same map multiple times in an hour of play because the standard rotation is gone.
anyone else hitting this issue? is there any feedback from Dice on fixing this? any kind of clever workaround?

I have a rtx 4070, i7-13700f and 32gb of ddr5 ram 5600mhz dual channel 16gb each. for some reason in main menu the gpu usage is at 99% but when I get into a game it starts dropping to 70% or sometimes 60%, in very rare cases it reaches 80% but doesnt go beyond that. any help?
all of my drivers are up to date and like I mentioned it happens only in this game.
temperatures are fine, cpu usage is also fine, my fps are good but the gpu not being fully utilized really frustrates me...

its not in there. ive got em dialed in about as good as i can. if i turn the sensitivity down anymore its too unresponsive ifor flight. i do alright and have gotten better, but theres no assist discernible to me. I remember back in the day getting pretty good with a controller for quake3. took a lot of practice and still was shit with the rail gun comparatively but the stick was nice true analog movement

You definitely can fly with kbm, and it’s the kind of thing where guides don’t really help as you just have to kind of brute force it. It takes a while to get used to given how different it is to infantry, but plenty of top level pilots use kbm

It’s natural to me since I’ve flown in bf for so long, but yeah. Unfortunately there are no shortcuts, you just have to play in solo modes and push yourself to fly in precarious ways, learn the roll speeds, collective increase rate, effects of gravity etc through repeated practise
One technique that was popularised in bf4 that could be used to help you out with helis is to use trees as targets. Simply orbit around them and do your best to hit them consistently, that way you train the precision required to potentially aim at players but without the stress

Is there much creativity in BFV's movement? Sure theres many options but in almost any scenario theres a clear way to go and it often feels more like autopilot.
1 does, however, have one of the most unique sandboxes in the game, and part of that comes from how interactable the maps are and how viable many of the slower weapons can be.
Plus a slower frontline means you have more time to enact any hair brained idea before the change of the frontline makes it impossible.
