The best advice is to experiment in side modes and not upend the entire BF experience in case the changes are disliked

• No server browser (Still isnt one for official modes)
• No way to join friends in game
• No way to join a full party of players in game until 18 months after launch
• No classes (Outside of cosmetic branding)
• Very poor Balance, as any player could use any gadget on any specialist (Which resulted in heavy meta build issue - AKA...everyone using Angel or Falck with a rocket launcher)
• Maps that were bad (So much so they had to ALL be remade)
• Technical issues (Bound to happen in a new game, but 2042 had a lot of issues that persisted for a year post launch)

I still only play with the bots. I designed a version of 2042 that’s actually fun to play. All vehicles and weapons are asymmetric.

They team that essentially remade the game did a great job tho. So credit where credit is due.

Every update after the BF teams got (As it appears from the outside looking in) "restructured", delivered consistent update after update of dramatic improvement to the game.

In the last 2 years, there isnt any change (Outside of maybe visual recoil addition) that was a bad change/made the game worse.

I found that the TUG actually gets a lot of spots on Stadium because it’s three corridors stacked on top of each other

And how sensors and jammers work in this game is actually a column that reaches remarkably far vertically

The proxy grenades picks up people who aren't moving and generally works well for scoping areas out.

Therefore a great offensive spotting option.

Tugs operates the opposite direction in that it acts as an anchor spotting people who are sprinting.

best advice to improve with that is tweak your settings to be as manoeuvrable as possible. And learn about how afterburner / speed makes you turn better
