One time I pissed off the entire enemy team on exposure my hovering over the enemy point with my gunship. Whenever they tried to fire Recoilless m5 or lissiles I dodged them by rolling and they got so mad they spawned in LATVs with flak cannons just to hit me

I think that the developers of 2042 forgot to program so that the game's trees don't get in the way when we are going to mark an enemy or an enemy vehicle and I say this because just recently I was playing and I saw an enemy plane through some trees but when aiming in the direction of the plane and pressing to warn the allies that there are enemies there, simply nothing happened because there were trees in front

Shoot into smoke? You cant track people in smoke without Rao/Paik abilities.
Nade the smoke? You dont know where the enemies are and you also get ONE viable grenade.
Air burst it? You get one clip.
Fights become such a crawl when theres nothing but smoke. And people are hella stupid so they just sit where they are.

2042 has shite map design. I dont think its a smoke issue. If you cant push a POI without getting clapped from 5 different directions I'd see your point. Smoke is literally the only thing that can break a good defense in some matches.

I mean that feels almost false. Most of the maps ive played on you can and will get shot at in 30 different directions. Obviously enemies will come from their points mainly but you can be out in an infantry only area and get lasered by a LMG in one corner and then shot at by the engineers at a rock

I feel you, but in BF4 i was getting shot on my way to an objective in rush, but I always felt like at the actual objective they gave us means to attack and defend. in 2042, every player is firing/lobbing grenades directly onto the objective... Theres no sense of tactics whatsoever. Smoke is almost a necessary crutch in Rush for 2042

There’s obvious complications with that. The final has full destruction but that’s a small game mode and destruction is handled server side which bring a bunch of other problems/concerns. It’s not that simple as “tech has advanced so we should be getting this stuff”

I'm thinking more like how DICE utilized scripting like they did with the Shanghai map in BF4 to cause destruction that wasn't so heavy on people's machines. The fact that I can't place C4 on a wall (especially at a POI) and blow a hole through it in 2042 is lack luster.

Not completely leveled. But thoroughly war torn. E.g: a 2 story building collapses and you lose the 2nd floor but partial cover from the first floor walls stays up so its still usable cover. Idk, maybe I'm asking too much from DICE/EA

We don't even have that in 2042. Not consistently. Haven for example. Enemy in a window of a small building. I send an RPG right into the window. I kill the enemy. Building eats the rocket. I play BF cause no other game does it the way BF does it.. but I expected, in 2042, for there to be some kind of damage to the structure.

- level up a class enough that you unlock the gun, they buy it with warbonds.

Infinite heals and ammo. Simple as that really. Best thing you can do is try to stick together with a squad mate, resupply and/or revive them and hope thay they repay the favor.

Sometimes I don't understand the logic of this game and I say this because in the video it shows that I took a good part of the enemy's life and he still managed to win the duel with just a few shots, after I died, I remember I sent this question in the game's chat for both teams to see and one guy said that the enemy probably shot me in the head and it's usually fatal and I even agreed with him but I've also seen situations where I shot the enemy in the head and it only took a little of their life

World is still fucked. Countries are just gone completely because they couldnt afford being a country. Russia and America are at it again (and Russia is funnily enough the good guys alot of the time)
Gamewise? Its pretty quiet on the DICE front. Havent seen many updates since the last season. Maybe one or two.

The guy helming development is the same guy who spearheaded TitanFall 2 so that's the only hope I've got for the next one.
Off the top of the head I know of many ways 2042 could've been improved upon, the main one being picking up where BF4's final fronts dlc left off with the preludes to 2142. Maybe prototype mechs, and titan airships.

It is one of terrarias biggest weaknesses.
The game has a lot of experimentation involved but to get the ideal route for your class you need to specifically know what to get.

You wont always have a thing. You dont have an easy means to get Corruption/Crimson depending on your worlds initial choice.
Hell like the Hero sword? You wont know about that shit unless you happen to find it yourself or look it up on the wiki.

I need help with something jet and helicopter related
So I'm trying to fly my F 35 right, and fheres this nightbird, and I don't last more than 4 seconds once it starts shooting me, even if I'm circling him, I have tier 2 on both jets so I'm not bad, but I feel like I have no chance, I've tried flying right at him with the 25mm but he seems to be able to veer off my screen within 2 or 3 seconds and still kill me In that 4 second time frame
Do I just play ground stuff or is there something I can do? I feel like the nightbird is OP but I'm open to learning to be a better pilot to better face future situations

As an experience stealth bomber pilot, feel free to, although I respect it still, the bomber, especially when running JDAMS, can 1v1 a wildcat and they can't really do anything about it, still tho yeah fuck these nightbirds
