It can take a whole month of saving and kick you down by giving you someone you don’t want. It’s so infuriating

Some specialists would be problematic. Like a squad of Irish's with AI irishes would be like Gears Horde mode where the enemies cant fucking movr.

Its one of my main gripes with 5. You spend 15+ seconds, or even 20+ per death waiting to respawn and play the game.

In a game where artillery can instakill you. Or bombers. Or planes. Or tanks. Or shotguns. Or snipers. Or grenades. Or melee.

2042 its basically: Oops you died, hold A immediately to "Give up" and respawn pretty much instantly on where you picked.

As with all Battlefield games since Battlefield 1, vertical recoil is a fixed (non-randomized) value. While vertical recoil can accelerate, the increases and decreases are at discrete, known intervals.
